Entertainment: The gem of the room, our Victorian-inspired, jewel-box stage presents a variety of performances, including burlesque and vaudeville revues, sketch comedy shows, bands, DJs and the occasional wedding! You never know exactly what you'll get, as the shows are different every night, but you'll definitely walk away amazed!
Music: the DJ's spin great eclectic sets ranging from old R&B, funk, Punk, Garage Rock, to disco and hip hop. The weeknight burlesque shows are usually accompanied by a live band, which brings a very authentic flavor to the evening.
About the Slipper Room: The Slipper Room has in the past ten years become an institution on the Lower East Side as the home of the New Burlesque. The room is warm and intimate and the shows are very high quality but extremely affordable.
Directions: Take the F train to the Second Ave stop. If you are at the front of the train you'll be on Houston and Allen. Walk one block east and one block south to the corner of Orchard and Stanton.
The original and still the best. New York's longest running burlesque show, with all of this town's top talent and guest performers from around the world. You have to see it to believe it!
